Other creations from my studio

I bought my embroidery machine to create labels for my quilts and to be able to add designs to my quilts. I really did not think that I would use it that much; just something to tinker with. What I quickly discovered is that there is an entire different world out there that involves embroidery.
Quilts take a lot of planning, time and patience. Most take months to finish! The value is priceless and I do not sell my quilts they are a creation of love to gift to others. I still dabble with the quilts, but I have enjoyed all of the things that I can do with embroidery and have dedicated my time to perfecting the craft and being able to celebrate finishing projects in a much quicker manner than what a quilt can be done in.
With that I wanted to share some of the quilts I have made in the last couple of years. My grandma was a quilter and made some of the most beautiful quilts and taught me well. As I have followed in her footsteps I know that I will never be as good at it as she was and do it for the joy of the art.
